Art Workshops Gallor

Several arts-based programming events are being offered this month. Take a look!

Friday, September 16  from 9-4pm: Painting in Nature with Anita Bunt

Dive into watercolour and acrylic techniques while painting the scenery around you at the Laurentian Conservation Area. This will be a full-day event. pack a lunch! There is no fee and supplied will be provided that to the City of Greater Sudbury. Contact Audrey at 705.222.6472 ext. 314 or aobrien@nisa.on.ca to register. Finished paitnigns have the option of being show during our Fall Art Show.

Wednesday, September 14: Bird painting/Collaging

What bird are you? Do you identify with a loon? A crow? Bluejay? Chiackadee? Pidgeon? Mockingbird? We’ll dive into each of our bird identities in this collaging and bird-painting extravaganza. It will be an exploration of different and layering mediums, and, oneself. This event will be divided into two group to accommodate different schedules and individuals. Group One will be birding from 1-4pm; Group Two will bird from 5-8pm. Pick the time for you and register with Audrey at 705.222.6472 ext. 314 or aobrien@nisa.on.ca. Pieces may be show in our Fall Art Show.
