November Dynamic Minds Programming

Fall and winter can prove to be difficult for a lot of us here at NISA. With the colder weather and grey skies coming, it may take some extra attention to our minds and bodies to get us and keep us feeling well. In response to this, NISA has once again set up the Seasonal Affective Disorder/SAD lamp station to help members to get enough light (please see the instruction manuals located at the table) and we have increased our YMCA programming.

For all dynamic minds classes you attend in the month of November, your name will be entered in a draw to win prizes at the end of the month! This includes YMCA programs and the Zumba that will be offered on Fridays in the NISA group room.


Aquafit, 9:00am-10:00am with Alex

Use the water resistance and buoyancy to strengthen muscles and cardio function in an easy-on-the-joints way


Chair Yoga from 10:30am-11:30am with SueAnn or Claudie

A pleasant blend of physical activity and spirituality where each individual moves along at their own pace. Chair yoga provides assitsnace so that everyone can practice safely and securely. Helps build greater flexibility, reduce stress and tone muscles.


Open Gym from 1:00pm-2:00pm with Alex

Alex will be available to members to work out on the nachines upstairs, Take this opportunity to learn something new or even walk to track.


Zumba from 12:10pm-12:45pm with SueAnn or Claudie

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music. It’s a one-of-akind workout which will have you moving in ways you never imagined.


Pilates from 10:30am-11:30am with SueAnn or Kaarina

Improve strength and flexibility with this core conditioning workout

Zumba at NISA from 2-3pm in the NISA Group Room!

Please note that if you would like to attend the YMCA and don’t want to participate in one of the classes, grab a buddy and head over. A staff will be happy to sign you in so you can do your own thing, too!

Please ensure that you have proper shoes and a lock for your personal items.
