Take Back the Night Wellness Programming and March

In advance of Sudbury’s Take Back the Night/ Reprenons la nuit March on Thursday September 17, 2015, NISA is hosting 3 free workshops, open to the community. Sudburians are invited to participate in the following events that focus on healing, expression and support for mental wellness and ending violence against women:

Monday September 14th, 1:00pm: Women’s Expressive Watercolour Art Therapy

Tuesday September 15th, 1:00pm: Letters to Ourselves, Writing Workshop

Wednesday September 16th, 4:40pm: Yoga Playshop for children and caregivers – CANCELLED due to low attendance.

Everyone is invited to march and speak out about violence against all persons, with an emphasis on ending sexual violence against women, on September 17, from 6pm-8pm, starting at the Sudbury Secondary School.  All genders and teens are welcome. Nine speakers will take the auditorium at 6 pm and the walk will embark at 7 pm through downtown.
