Reception & Client Support
The Reception and Client Support Worker fosters, a friendly and welcoming environment, ensuring that new, returning, and existing clients can easily access NISA’s services. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Reception and Client Support Worker is responsible for tracking attendance in EMHWARE, updating client records as needed, and scheduling appointments with the appropriate staff to support client integration into the organization. In addition, the Reception/Client Support Worker will provide support to the In-House Program in relation to providing peer support to clients attending NISA.

Peer Support Worker – Supportive Housing (Moonlight and Fairview)
The Peer Support Worker – Supportive Housing is responsible for providing peer-based, recovery-oriented support to individuals within a residential setting. This role emphasizes lived experience, harm reduction principles, and trauma-informed practice. The worker provides one-to-one support, system navigation, and community connections.

Peer Support Worker – Regional Warm Line (Remote)
The Regional Warm Line Peer Support Worker provides support using a recovery-based approach. Key responsibilities include active listening and reflection, building meaningful relationships, developing individualized support plans with callers, systems advocacy, symptom management, and teaching coping skills. Additionally, the Peer Support Worker will develop a comprehensive knowledge of community resources throughout Northeastern Ontario and assist callers in connecting with appropriate services.
