Project Description

From Good to Great: Poetry Techniques

“From Good to Great: Poetry Techniques” – NISA’s writer-in-residence, Natalie Morrill, will be leading a 6-week poetry class on Wednesdays from 1:00-2:30 p.m. beginning January 6, 2016. Writers who have been writing for pleasure (or pain!) and who are ready to take their writing to a new level can join the class to learn more about poetic devices and how they are used to make poetry great. Participants will be able to bring in their current work for revision and feedback.

Missed the first classes? It’s not too late! Join the next Wednesday class at 1:00pm.

Did you know? NISA and it’s literary journal have opened the 14th Annual BrainStorm Poetry Contest! Click here for all the details on the contest and how you can submit your work.

This course is made possible thanks to grants from the City of Greater Sudbury and the Ontario Arts Council.
